Privacy policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
In short: NeuroFi has no sign-up, forms, analytics or advertising. Your favorites, comparisons and preferences are stored only in your browser. The only personal data processed is the technical data of each connection (such as the IP address), needed to serve and protect the site, and, only if you turn on alerts, your browser’s notification address and the alerts you ask for. The Spanish version of this policy prevails in case of discrepancy.

2. What data is processed and why
- Technical connection data. When you visit the site, the server and Cloudflare’s network receive your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser and the referring page. They are used only to deliver the content, detect abuse and resolve incidents. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Preferences on your device. Favorites, stocks in the comparison, visible columns, language and the dividend mode are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to any server: NeuroFi neither receives nor can read them. Details are in the cookie policy.
- Push alerts (optional). If you set a price or breakout alert on a stock page and accept your browser’s notification permission, the browser creates a subscription: an address at the browser’s notification service (run by Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) and encryption keys. NeuroFi stores it on its server together with the alerts you ask for (stock, type, target price and, for breakouts, whether of daily levels, weekly ones or both) and the breakouts already announced, in order to send you those notifications. It is not linked to a name, email, account or IP address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you withdraw by removing the alerts (removing the last one deletes the subscription) or by blocking this site’s notifications in your browser.
- NeuroFi Discord bot (optional). If you use the bot’s commands in a Discord server, NeuroFi stores on its server your Discord user ID together with what you follow, your price alerts and whether you want daily breakouts, in order to answer you and mention you in the channel. It does not store your messages, name or avatar. Discord sends NeuroFi the content of each command you use, which it uses only to answer it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you withdraw by unfollowing everything and removing your alerts (
/watchlist,/alerts) or by asking for deletion at the address in section 1.
NeuroFi does not build profiles or make automated decisions.
3. Retention
Server logs are kept for at most 14 days and then deleted. Cloudflare applies its own retention periods, described in its privacy policy. Browser preferences remain until you delete them. Each alert subscription is kept while it has active alerts: a price alert is deleted once sent, and a subscription the browser cancels is removed at the next send. The record of breakouts already announced is deleted after 30 days. The bot keeps your follows and alerts until you remove them; a price alert is deleted once it fires, and the record of what it has posted is deleted after 180 days.
4. Providers and international transfers
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: server hosting.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: DNS, delivery and attack protection. Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and offers the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the European Economic Area.
Both act as data processors and only process data to provide their service.
If you turn on alerts, each notification goes through your browser’s notification service (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Mozilla Push Service, Apple Push Notification service or Windows Push Notification Services), which delivers it to your device. It is end-to-end encrypted (RFC 8291): the service sees the address and the time of sending, not the content.
5. Live quotes and external links
Live quotes are fetched by NeuroFi’s server from Yahoo Finance (stocks and indices) and BitcoinWisdom (cryptocurrencies) and shared among all visitors. Your browser only connects to NeuroFi, which asks those sources for the symbols being viewed, without any of your data. TradingView charts and logos are also served from NeuroFi’s own domain.
The site links to sources such as Yahoo Finance, Wikipedia, the SEC, iShares or TradingView. When you visit them, their own privacy policies apply.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. As NeuroFi does not identify its visitors, we may need additional information (for example, the IP address and approximate time of your visit) to locate the data (Art. 11 GDPR). If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Changes
This policy may be updated if the service changes. The date of the latest version appears at the top.
